Butler’s Liqueur Mix With The Best Off-trade Campaign

  1. All persons (‘the entrants’) entering the Butlers Cocktail Liqueurs Off-Trade Campaign, on behalf of DGB (Pty) Ltd (‘the Promoter’’), Competition (‘the promotional competition’) agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them.     1. These terms and conditions and competition rules contain certain terms and conditions which appear in similar text style to this clause and which:
    2. The entrant’s attention is drawn to these terms and conditions because they are important and should be carefully noted.
    3. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the entrant or the promoter in terms of the South African Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”).
    4. The entrant acknowledges that by submitting his/her entry to the competition he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before entering and that he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
    5. All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoters DGB (Pty) Ltd, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.

  3. Promotional Campaign Details:
    1. The Butler’s Mix with The Best Off-Trade Campaign is valid from 01 April 2026 to 31 May 2026. No entries will be considered from 23:59 on 31 May 2026.
  4. Rules of the Campaign:
    1. This campaign is open to all except for the following:
      • Any director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant to DGB (Pty) Ltd who are the promoters of this campaign, or any other companies forming part of the DGB (Pty) Ltd group of companies.
      • Any suppliers, service providers, or contractors of DGB (Pty) Ltd, being a supplier of goods or services in connection to the campaign.
      • Any spouse, partner, sibling, parent, or child of any of the above.
  5. How to enter the campaign:
    1. To enter this promotional retail campaign, entrants are required to:
      1. Purchase at least 1x bottle of any Butlers Cocktail Liqueurs variant at any of the 100 participating retail outlets during the stipulated campaign period.
      2. Enter their full details on the till slip and slot it into the entry box to enter the competition for the main prize.
  6. Prize:
    1. To be eligible to win the Prize, entrants must be natural persons residing in South Africa, be in possession of a valid ID and be 18+ years of age.
    2. Winning entries are based on the random selection draw from the entry box.
    3. The Prize is the same for all qualifying entrants at all participating retail outlets.
    4. The Prize is not exchangeable and/or cannot be exchanged for a monetary value.
    5. Qualifying entrants stand a chance to win 1x Butlers Mixology Gift Box, to the value of R2000 (Two Thousand Rands).
    6. The Butlers Mixology Gift Box includes:
        • 1x Bottle Butlers Passion Fruit
        • 1x Cocktail Shaker Kit
        • 2x Cocktail Glasses

  7. General:
    1. If a potential winner does not claim the prize from the participating retail outlets within the validity period of the prize, it will be regarded as agreeing to forfeit the prize.
    2. DGB (PTY) Ltd’s decision is final, in the event that any dispute arises with regard to the competition, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    3. By entering this competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activities related to the competition as DGB (Pty) Ltd may reasonably require, provided that a winner may decline to do so.
    4. By entering the competition entrants acknowledge that DGB (Pty) Ltd may collect personal information about them, which they provide when they enter the competition. DGB (Pty) Ltd undertake to not sell or share this information with third parties but may disclose the information if required by law.
    5. The competition is conducted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa and should any of the competition rules be deemed void or unenforceable, then that rule will be deemed to be deleted, and the remaining rules will remain in force.
    6. DGB (Pty) Ltd reserve the right to amend the competition rules in their reasonable discretion should they consider this appropriate, before the competition closes and any such amendment(s) shall be posted on the website https://butlerscocktails.co.za/.
    7. By taking part in this competition, each entrant acknowledges his/her understanding of and agrees to comply with each of the competition rules set out above.
